Lewis & Roberts, P.L.L.C. is one of North Carolina's largest law firms dedicated exclusively to the representation of clients in litigation.  The firm's Workers' Compensation Group is one of the state's largest and most respected groups representing employers and insurers. The Workers' Compensation Group is exclusive counsel to some of the state's largest employers and insurers. The firm has handled cases throughout the southeast and the eastern coast. The firm's Civil Litigation Group handles complex civil cases, with significant experience in construction defects, construction and surety litigation, class actions, business torts, aviation law, products liability, medical malpractice and serious personal injury, including wrongful death. The lawyers in our Civil Litigation Group primarily represent property owners, consumers, minority shareholders, construction companies and individuals.

In addition to the work we perform for our clients, our lawyers hold leadership positions in state and national bar organizations, and regularly speak at Continuing Legal Education programs teaching other lawyers the skills we have acquired. Over the last few years, our attorneys have chaired the Litigation, Workers' Compensation and Construction Sections of the North Carolina Bar Association. Additionally, one of our partners is a former Deputy Commissioner of the North Carolina Industrial Commission. Our firm was formed in 1997 by a group of partners who had years of experience at one of the state's largest firms. Since our formation, we have selectively added attorneys with extensive litigation experience. Our lawyers have successfully tried some of North Carolina's largest and most noteworthy cases. The firm has acted as lead counsel in cases from the North Carolina coast to the mountains.   The firm maintains offices in both Raleigh and Charlotte.
